* STNA is an acronym for State Tested Nurse Aide. It may be refered to as CNA in some states but here in Ohio it is called STNA.
* Also referred to as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA), people trainned in this field provide basic nursing care such as dressing, feeding, bathing and observing patients.
* Additionally, you will be taught how to provide care for the elderly and the ill, learning and applying job safety and infection control, grooming,and ambulating patients.
* Good general health, effective communication skills, compassion, and empathy are characteristics that will serve you well in this field.
